VirtaMed has been the conference sponsor at the “Device & Diagnostic Clinical Training & Education Conference” taking place in Berlin, Germany, on June 6-7, 2011.

The conference organized by Q1 Productions featured presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions with one common goal: To maximize product training and education in the European medical device and diagnostic space through engaging healthcare professionals and examining successful learning methodologies.

The reason for this conference was the uniqueness of the challenges that medical device and diagnostic companies face in training and educating physicians and healthcare professionals on their products. Professional education managers of leading organizations shared best practices on how to educate physicians, health care professionals and their own sales teams on new and existing technologies and devices. 

One of the huge topics was the integration of innovative training tools such as simulation technology, eLearning, mobile learning and interactive training tools.
