HystSim, EssureSim, TRUCLEAR Sim and GyneSim all over the place at ESGE conference in London

The ESGE conference took place September 20-24, 2011. For VirtaMed, this has been an important date: the first prototype release of the morcellation simulators for Smith&Nephew and Hologic: The new TRUCLEAR SIM and GyneSim modules for the HystSim simulator.

But the visiting surgeons also encountered VirtaMed simulators at other booths: our distribution partner Simbionix featured HystSim at their booth, Ethicon displayed Versapoint in virtual reality, and Richard Wolf trained surgeons with their PRINCESS™ Resectoscope on HystSim.

Conceptus even had two EssureSim simulators at the booth and gave surgeons some hands-on training on how to perform the Essure® procedure.

It was a great show, and we enjoyed seeing our simulators put to valuable use!
