The 19th Annual Congress ESGE took place in Barcelona, Spain from September 29 to October 2, 2010.

The Catalonia Palace of Congresses offered a valuable opportunity to promote the science of endoscopy and to allow people coming from different countries to meet and exchange ideas.

The leading world experts in gynecologic endoscopy and minimal-invasive surgery also had various chances to practice hysteroscopic interventions on virtual reality simulators: One HystSim was ready for trainees at the ETHICON / Johnson & Johnson booth, another one at the Simbionix booth, and two EssureSims offered gynecologists the chance to try out the Essure® procedure at the Conceptus booth.
